Helm of Awe Ægishjálmur Cauldron

This Vegvísir Cauldron carries the ancient Icelandic symbol of guidance and protection, meant to keep one from losing their way through storm or shadow. The glaze moves in layers of dark brown and black, catching glints of copper where the light touches. Inside, the black finish deepens the sense of stillness and grounding.

Each piece is hand-thrown in stoneware and fired to bring out unique variations in tone and texture. Measuring about 4.75 inches tall and 5.25 inches wide, it’s ideal for incense, offerings, or as a steadfast altar vessel. Food safe and dishwasher safe. For charcoal or resin, add a base of sand or salt to protect the interior.
