Helm of Awe Ægishjálmur Chalice

This chalice carries the Ægishjálmur, the Helm of Awe, an ancient Norse stave for protection and strength. The glaze pools in dark forest greens and blue-greens with faint touches of gold, giving the surface an organic depth, like lichen and light on stone.

Each chalice is hand-thrown in stoneware and finished in the kiln’s flame, allowing the glaze to find its own flow and form. Unique in every detail, it stands about 6.25 inches tall and 3.5 inches wide, holding roughly 10 ounces. Food safe and dishwasher safe.
